More Engines

This was the last engine I built during 2001 & 2002 it is a "Single Fairley" articulated, like a garratt but powered on the front bogie only. I later changed the valve gear from Hackworth to Walschaerts & fitted steam brakes, axle driven pump & sand boxes.This is my favourite engine it rocks & rolls but sticks to the track like glue. Assembling train to cart firewood, daughter Annie driving. This was the end of 2 weeks hard work. When carting firewood I mostly burn wood quite successfull but morefrequent.
