Kirton Light Railway is a garden railway on half an acre. Being just 15yds wide the curves are very tight, down to 13ft radius. the track is 30x12mm flat steel bar set in concrete sleepers reinforced with stainless steel.There are 9 sets of points and 2 diamond crossings, total track length 375yds.The track runs through the back of the house into the assembly shop then into the workshop (formally the front room). My neighbour on the left was about to have the track extended onto his garden but he died suddenly.
